Ruyi Zheng

Ruyi Zheng joined the Department of Chemical & Petroleum Engineering at KU in fall 2017 for her Ph.D. degree, working with Dr. Laura Li. She received her B.S. degree in Petroleum Engineering and M.S. degree in Reservoir Engineering from China University of Petroleum (East China). Her research interests are in natural gas hydrates, which she has focused on since 2014. At KU, she studied the phase behavior of natural gas hydrates experimentally and theoretically. After completing the PhD, Dr. Zheng accepted a Postdoctoral Research position in the TORP labs.
