Biography

Mustafa M. Alhubail was a PhD student in chemical and petroleum engineering, and a graduate teaching assistance at The University of Kansas. Prior to that, he was a graduate research assistance at The University of Kansas working on the modeling of the acid transport inside fractures. His area of interest and expertise are mathematical modeling and computational mathematics, numerical finite element method, fracture acidizing and hydraulic fracturing. He, also, has worked on unconventional resources projects to optimize the fracture design process. Alhubail obtained a B.S. degree in petroleum engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, and an M.S. degree in petroleum engineering and a Ph.D. in chemical & petroleum engineering from The University of Kansas.
