Biography

Emily (Yuting) Li received the Bachelor degree of Chemical Engineering from Tianjin University, China. She was a graduate student in Petroleum & Chemical Engineering department of University of Kansas and the graduate research assistant in Dr. Franklin Tao group. Her research is focused on using the microporous material catalyst to achieve the activation of C-H bond and coupling of C-C bond, because of the special features of microporous zeolites. She also used microscope instrument to investigate the fundamental mechanism of this kind of reaction.

Education

Ph.D. in Chemical and Petroleum Engineering- Chemical focus
