Ankit Verma, Ph.D.

Ankit received his bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Madras, India in 2016. He started his Ph.D. at University of Kansas in fall 2016 as a Chancellor’s Fellow. During the first two years of Ph.D., he worked on the development of carbon nanotubes based high surface area materials. Under the guidance of Dr. Mark Shiflett, Ankit worked broadly on process development for efficient recycling of lithium-ion batteries. Upon graduation, he accepted a position at Intel in Hillsboro, Oregon.
