5 Faculty in Top 2% of World Scientists Based on Citations

School of Engineering Dean Arvin Agah announced over the weekend that we are celebrating the news that 5 of the C&PE faculty having been named in the world’s top 2% scientists based on their citations.  Stanford University, using data from Elsevier’s Scopus, has compiled a list of the world’s top 2% scientists, based on their citations, excluding self-citations. More than 9 million scientists were included in the study, with 186,177 individuals representing the top 2% in the latest version. The faculty in the Chemical & Petroleum Engineering who receive this recognition are:

  • Cory Berkland
  • Steve Gehrke
  • Trung Nguyen
  • Mark Shiflett
  • Bala Subramaniam
