Graduate Student
Ph.D. (in progress)
Primary office:

I received my Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering at Ankara University in Turkey and master’s degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Oklahoma. I have been a PhD student at KU since Spring 2014. First three years of my degree, I worked on low salinity waterflooding on carbonate reservoirs. I am currently working with Dr. Mark Shiflett on ammonia absorption in ionic liquids. My current research interests are ionic liquids, heating cooling cycles, vapor liquid equilibria, zeolites, nanofluids, surfactants and surface phenomena. As I am very enthusiastic about research, I would like to pursue a career in research be it in industry or academia. I also enjoy teaching and spreading scientific knowledge. Besides my enthusiasm towards research, I love playing the piano, watching movies, and travel & discover new places with my friends in my free time.
