Biography —
Murilo Toledo Suekuni received his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Universidade Sao Francisco, Brazil, in 2018. After his graduation, Murilo joined Dr. Alan M. Allgeier’s group to pursue his PhD studies in Chemical Engineering and work with the characterization of porous systems using Time Domain Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (TD-NMR). This exciting technique provides accurate data on the material structure, requiring minimal sample preparation and enabling the investigation of in-situ conditions. Murilo’s research interests include the application of NMR in phase behavior studies and the characterization of polymeric materials, including hydrogels; and oxides. Besides his academic experience, Murilo also has 6 years of industry background, acting in the supply chain and quality engineering sectors of food and automotive companies. Besides his current endeavors within academia, his passions also include music, running, and traveling.
