Chong Hyun Ahn
Chong Hyun Ahn has been a full-time Post-Doctoral Researcher at the University of Kansas since August 2016. He currently conducts petroleum data analytics researches in Computational Earth Science and Smart Analytics Lab (CESSAL). Prior to this, he was a Ph.D. student at the Pennsylvania State University in the department of petroleum and natural gas engineering, completed his doctoral research dedicated to modeling of hydraulic fracture propagation in naturally fractured shale reservoirs. He received his M.S. in petroleum engineering from Pennsylvania State University (2012), and B.S. in mathematics from University of Texas in Austin (2009).
