Si-Min Yu is a post-doctoral researcher working at the Center for Environmentally Beneficial Catalysis (CEBC). She joined the research group of Prof. Bala Subramaniam in spring 2016. Her current work focuses on Rh-catalyzed hydroformylation of butadiene to adipaldehyde. She received her B.S. (2009) and Ph.D. (2015) from Chemistry and Chemical Department, Lanzhou University in China. Her graduate research focused on mechanistic studies of heterogeneous catalysis using in situ solid-state NMR spectroscopy.
