Congratulations, Aishik!

We are happy to announce that Aishik Chakraborty, Doctoral Candidate with a Chemical Engineering Focus, has been awarded a Graduate Studies Summer Research Award. Aishik completed his Comprehensive Exam in February of this year, and is excited to have this award so he can focus all of his attention on completing his dissertation over the summer. His research advisor is Associate Professor Prajna Dhar, and he completed his Master's degree here at KU under her guidance as well. The title of his Master's Thesis was "Tug of War at Air-Water Interface: Understanding Lipid-Nanoparticle and Lipid-Protein Interaction Associated with Lung Surfactants at a Molecular Level," and he has presented his research both on and off campus.
